Paid BLOGGING???

Paid Blogging is another way of talking about PPC or PAY PER CLICK/affiliate programs. Some companies call it sponsored blogging or such but basically someone is paying you to either review their product or paying you to place their ad on YOUR page so that you can sell their product. I have found another good reference for those of you who love the word "FREE" and don't like the catch in the end. I hate fine print in the end where you have to actually buy something, especially when initially it is stated as being "FREE" or "GRATIS" etc. Anyways, here is the latest link i've found to help all of you out the best way i can.

Home Based Business???

Ok, so a lot of you will be wondering about home based businesses. Many people wonder, do they work? Are they a scam? is this just some pyramid scam? The simple answer would be ...well there isnt a simple answer haha. The reason is this, i stated before that everything involves some amount of time to be put into it. Like the name reads "home based business".... i think that the word business is in there because it isnt some INSTANT money plan. Things may start out slow and take off very well. A pyramid scam?? A pyramid has a hierarchy meaning someone is at the top and maybe has a few people under them, who in turn bring in people underneath them..and those people should have people under them as well. The reason for this is that if everyone refers a few people to whatever homebased company, they usually receive an initial commission off that person and even years down the line they can receive credit for the continuance of that persons success. So in a sense you can simply live off referals.

My experience was with prepaid legal. You actually receive an advanced commission which is your commission for that person for the WHOLE year. rather than each commission for the whole month. If someone cancels their membership you WOULD have to pay back the advanced commissions for whatever months remain in their membership. As you see this can be a good thing or a bad thing DEPENDING ON how you SPEND or SAVE your money. As i stated, these are actual businesses that DO WORK. Now, with any business you will need INVESTMENT capitol. Some of these range from a small $30 fee up to the thousands. Naturally i would chose something with a small investment fee or training package(as they are sometimes called). With something like prepaid legal there are often special months where the package is lower. i think We paid about $99 at the time i was working with my uncle. Typically, depending on which plan a customer purchased my comission was between 30-100sum odd dollars. Which isnt bad at all. Its actually really good. Which is why my uncle and his wife have been doing so well with this over the past 5 years or more.

My take on things

Nothing in life comes easy, this is another one of those things. Yes, you'll hear tons of people say it's easy and they make more money than before bla bla bla. But the thing is this, it still takes WORK. you still have to sign up, learn how to  position ads. You still have to find out what ads work for your page. It doesnt take much thought but for instance, because I hated being scammed or people attempting to do so I try to make sure that some of the ads that are placed are regarding such. Identity protection is a very important thing in this day and age. I can't really stress that enough. At a time, i actually sold Prepaid Legal...and might i add that my uncle is very successful at it enough to where he and his wife quit their jobs and buy 2 more houses. No lies about it. My qualm with sales is that i am a very private person and prefer not to have AVON parties in my apartment, especially with near complete strangers. My uncle and his wife do this very well and eventually would lease an office for such matters. Telephone sales are fine with me as long as the potential customer actually initiated the interest. I HATE COLD-CALLING off of cheap leads. Cheap meaning non-qualified. I would rather sit online or the telephone or speak in person and simply share the information that i've learned over the years. So, back to the real point here... I chose not to continue in my various salesman positions in search of the very same thing tv stations get paid from. Advertising. More people get online than watch tv. Each little bit counts in this arena. You may say... man $5 isnt much of a payoff, but... if you were to have 2 webpages with all the same ads on different parts of the internet then the $5 adds up to hundreds or MORE. Think of it like this... $5   twenty times over is $100. It all depends on you and the work you put into things and researching what it is you are doing. I will be placing up more and more info, some exerts and the rest is a combination of my thoughts and experiences.

Exert: BECOME an AFFILIATE?? HUH?

"Almost every large company online has an affiliate program. There are also companies online where all they do is offer other online business a way to have an affiliate program. I call these companies Affiliate Companies.

These Affiliate Companies manage affiliate programs for thousands of online companies and websites. This means that if you have an affiliate account with an Affiliate Company (don't worry, they are completely free), you can advertise for any of the thousands of websites that use the Affiliate Company to manage their affiliate sales. If you want to, you can search Google for affiliate programs just to see how big online marketing currently is.

When you are looking at these Affiliate Companies you will notice two things. They will offer services to both Affiliates and Merchants (also called vendors). Here's the difference between the two:

• Affiliate - Person who promotes a website to receive commission for each product they sell.
• Merchant - Person or company which owns the website being promoted by the affiliates.

Here are a few of the most popular Affiliate Companies

ClickBank - www.clickbank.com - Having an affiliate account with ClickBank will allow you to sell digital products (only available via download) for over 10,000 online businesses. Their commission rates on average run anywhere from 10%-75% per each sale the affiliate makes on that webpage. I highly recommend starting off with ClickBank.

PayDotCom – www.paydotcom.com – PayDotCom is a fairly new affiliate network that is similar to ClickBank. Unlike ClickBank, PayDotCom accepts affiliates from a much broader range of countries and also pays affiliate commissions directly into each affiliate's PayPal account.

Commission Junction - www.cj.com - Having an affiliate account with Commission Junction will allow you to sell mostly physical products (must be shipped to the buyer). A few of the big companies which use them are eBay, Dell, Best Buy and Yahoo, and many more."

An exert on ONLINE MARKETING

"

What is Online Affiliate Marketing?

Basically, online affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another person's website and in return the advertiser receives commission for each sale their advertising brings to that website. You are considered an affiliate if you're advertising for a website that you don't own, and you are getting paid for each sale your advertising produces.

Here's an example: Let's say I want to sell computers, but I don't have a website and/or I don't have any computers to sell. Well instead of starting a company, I can just find a company online which already sells computers and offers an affiliate program. Now that I have searched and found a company, I look at what they offer. Let's say they are giving 10% commission on every sale I make. I decide to use that company and I set up my affiliate account with them and they give me a special URL (a web address that will let the company know that it was my advertising which gave them the sale), which I use in my advertisements.

Now I make an advertisement, and display it on Google. Whenever someone sees and clicks on my advertisement it will go to the company's webpage. Let's say that one hundred people click on my text advertisement and one of them buys a computer that cost $1,200. Because that person who bought the computer clicked on my advertisement the company will give me 10% of $1,200 which means that I made $120.00."

This is a simplified way of explaining how the basics work. In one way or another, everything is related to clicking a link. PPC Pay Per CLick. Not necessarily each click but lets say...  there are 1000 people clicking a link, 1 person actually buys so in return you are paid commission for that sale. For the actual sale, rather than the click itself. Since you are online, you aren't limited to a specific region. Your site may be seen in Florida, Idaho, or the Himalayas ajjaj. So to speak.

~The Beginning

To start this off, this is an actual REAL blog. I got tired of searching around online for hours only to be run around in circles by websites that seemed like they were complete bullshit or charged $39.99 for a cd they paid 99cents for. Like most, i don't feel like sitting in a library and learning how to write grants, or search online marketing. I also don't have time for emails telling me i need to submit my social security number for a credit check. Ok, so wtf does a credit check have anything to do with working online?? ... NOTHING...  So in my experience, i regard these mostly as "phishing" sites, which they are fishing for your IDENTITY using your social.

So in this so called recession, we are trying to find other ways to supplement our incomes while at the same time we have to worry about people trying to steal our identity to supplement their own. I can be a bit paranoid and even when i finally paid for  my google package and my grant package i actually used a prepaid credit card for the purchase. Turns out they were legit but also came bundled with all these damn trial offers. Normally i would cancel all the trial offers immediately but in this case i will not. The companies trying to make their extra money off of my card are basically FUCKED because of the fact that I USED A PREPAID CARD, haha. But ... in your case, you may want to actually cancel these trial offers because after the initial ___ amount of days, you will be charged the full price of membership. This is not unlike how adult websites work and can be tricky if not acted upon in a timely matter.

As you can see, my blog can be a bit random. Its more of a collection of thoughts and information, but the purpose for it all is to provide as much FREE information as possible so that people can learn what i have without going through as much trouble. In my postings i will discuss various ways of making money online and will try to guide you to as much info as possible. Even posting info that i PAID for.
